Freelance HR Consultant Needed-HR Setup with Optional 1 DayVisit

We are Tees Meats & Groceries UK — a growing African food and wholesale business based in Middleton, Manchester.
We are setting up a new operational unit and taking on our first staff members. We need an experienced freelance HR consultant to help us build our HR systems from scratch.
This is a remote project with the option of one physical visit to our Middleton Manchester unit at the end to set up filing and brief the team.
What we need:
1. Employment contracts — full time, part time and casual worker agreements
2. Staff handbook — conduct, absence, disciplinary and grievance
3. Payroll setup guidance — HMRC Basic PAYE Tools
4. Right to work check procedures and templates
5. HR filing system — physical and digital templates
6. Brief the business owner on legal obligations as a UK employer
7. All templates ready for ongoing HR administration
Important — we hold a Home Office Sponsor Licence so experience with sponsor licence HR compliance is a strong bonus.
What we are looking for:
— CIPD qualified or equivalent experience
— Strong knowledge of UK employment law
— Small business experience — we are not a corporate
— Practical and straightforward approach
— Available to start this week
— Willing to do one optional day visit to Middleton Manchester
