Complete a IAA form, review witness statement and file to court

We have been served a statutory demand

We have been working with a legal services company and they have been doing some good work for us in the past. We contacted them on 04/12/2023 and were in the understanding they were able to make the application to set aside the Statutory Demand. We learned yesterday they have not made similar application in the past.

Statutory Demand was dated 21 November 2023, service was enacted on 23/11/2023, 21 days is 14/11/2023.

We need assistance in completing the IAA form and submitting to court today. We are aware it is late but we have strong grounds as the claimant has frustrated the process.

Reasons for Defend/set aside the demand:
• We have a bona fide dispute (see attached witness statement)
• The amount is incorrect (see attached witness statement)
• The process for serving has not been followed
• They have not responded to any of our communication since serving the Statutory demand
