I need someone to complete a professional entry into the Suffolk Business awards.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
INNOVATION IN BUSINESS
Sponsored by University of Suffolk
The Innovation in Business award will recognise a business which demonstrate transformational impact through innovation.
This may be through:
The development of an innovative product, process or service that is game changing
Using technology in new ways
Adopting new types of business models
Finding new ways of solving problems to transform lives
The application of innovation strategies to transform business cultures
Judges will be interested in the quality of the innovation, impact and reach of the projects; they will also be interested in how the innovation aligns to the regional industrial strategic priorities; finally judges will be looking for evidence of impact and reach.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In 2016 we developed a Ultra Violet knife steriliser, the first of its kind in the world which can save a food business 98% or its water and energy costs compared to traditional hot water knife sterilising methods. We have supplied this as far away as the Falkland Islands and Canada.
The first of its kind to be Authorised by the UK Food Standards Agency for use in abattoirs and meat cutting plants.
The technology is so effective in reducing energy and carbon footprints that many clients have received EU grant funding of up to 60% towards the cost under the EU Regional development fund.
We have also recently utilised the same technology against the spread of Coronavirus on handtools for a major aerospace manufacturer and also supply UV air purifiers to the emergency services, food businesses, open plan offices and care homes.
