Exciting Part-Time Business Development Consultant Role
Help Drive the UK and International Expansion of a new Category-Defining Wellness Brand
We are seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial and commercially minded Business Development Consultant to work directly with the founder during an exciting stage of growth and expansion.
This unique wellness brand has established its own category within the movement and wellbeing sector and has achieved stand-alone insurance recognition from launch, a rare achievement within the industry. Most remain undefined or become absorbed into existing categories.
This unique brand with the training, insurance and operational infrastructure now established is ready for UK and future international growth.
This is not a full-time position. Hours will vary according to business needs and expansion activity.
The Role
Working directly with the founder, your initial focus will be supporting the sale of the England Master Licence.
The role is expected to require modest input initially, with the potential for greater involvement as the business expands beyond the England Master Licence into Wales, Scotland, Ireland and future international territories.
Responsibilities
Identifying suitable Master Licence prospects
Proactively approaching and engaging with business owners and decision-makers
Building and developing strong commercial relationships
Supporting future UK and international expansion initiatives
Helping identify new commercial opportunities and potential partnerships
Confidently presenting and negotiating the opportunity and helping secure Master License sales.
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking someone who:
Has a proven background in business development, commercial sales or growth consultancy
Is highly entrepreneurial in their thinking
Enjoys creating opportunities and building relationships
Is confident engaging directly with business owners and decision-makers
Is self-motivated, proactive and results-driven
Can work independently and make good use of limited weekly hours
Wants to be involved in something innovative, exciting and distinctive
Essential Experience
Business development and able to close sales
Lead generation and relationship building
Presenting opportunities and securing commercial agreements
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Advantageous
Licensing or franchising experience ( though this is not a franchise business )
Territory development
Business expansion projects
Commercial partnerships
Building or scaling businesses
Wellness, health, education or training sectors
Location
Applicants must be UK-based, as occasional face-to-face meetings may be required.
