I have a client that wishes to pay me for a property being built in stage payments with specific key stages. We are paying for this building to be constructed as part of a larger scheme but this client already owns the adjacent plot of land.


Payment 1
Structural and groundwork's design complete and agreed.
Services ordered. Mobilisation and site set up.

Payment 2
Steelwork erected and groundworks in place

Payment 3
Roof and Wall cladding, pedestrian & sectional doors fitted, with building watertight

Payment 4
Practical Completion
Construction and site finished ready for client occupation

Payment 5
Retention held for 3 months while snagging finished

We would like to have a charge on the land and/or property that we will relinquish once the final payment is made.
