We own a residential freehold property with restricted covenants attached.
We are getting billed for "estate service charges" but do not wish to pay them if avoidable as we receive no value in return.
It looks to us as though the restrictive covenant deed has not been signed by the correct parties and we would like a property lawyer to advise us if we are correct in this assertion and if so, the best way to remove the restrictions and charges.
If the document has been signed by the correct parties then we would like to know if we have any other options to get restrictions and charges removed.
Estimate that this will not take very long for an experienced Property Lawyer - perhaps half an hour.
