Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 - 6 months
I am seeking an experienced independent professional to undertake an arm's-length review of a complex matter involving contractual, financial, governance, and compliance concerns.
The successful applicant will review documentation and evidence before preparing independent findings and, where appropriate, assisting with disclosures to relevant third parties including, but not limited to, HMRC, Companies House, banks, DWP, charities, grant providers, regulators, and other relevant organisations.
This assignment forms part of a wider dispute involving a failed professional retainer and associated financial issues. The successful applicant may therefore be required to consider evidence that overlaps with a separate debt recovery matter.
The role may include:
• Reviewing contracts, invoices, correspondence, and financial records
• Preparing chronologies and evidence schedules
• Assessing potential compliance, governance, regulatory, or reporting issues
• Preparing disclosures and supporting evidence packs
• Producing an independent written report
• Liaising with relevant third parties where appropriate
Complete independence and objectivity are essential.
Please provide details of relevant experience, qualifications, proposed approach, availability, and fee structure.
Confidentiality agreement required before documentation is released.
