Hello,
I have a full time member of staff who is employed by my company. The person in question has been with us for nearly two years (two year anniversary would be (February 25th 2021).
We are a marketing agency and she handles one of our client accounts. The client has made is known that they are not happy with the performance of this individual and require her to be removed from the account. If this does not happen then we will effectively lose this client's business, which is quite important to the overall company revenue.
As such, I must remove this person from the account at which point she will not have any other accounts to work on. My plan, harsh though it seems, it to make the person's role at the company redundant.
I would like to safeguard myself and the company in this legal matter and approach it in the correct way to have a positive outcome that this person leaves the business . I am happy to share our employment contract once the right expert has been found. I would need a contract review and response/ legal guidance within the next 48 hours.
