Hello.

I have an active UK planning application for a front porch that has been paused by the council. The planning officer rejected my 3D visuals and needs standard, scaled 2D existing/proposed floor plans and elevations. They specifically need the porch height and existing house height clearly labelled. I can provide the 3D images and rough measurements. Can you draft these four black-and-white scaled PDF drawings for me? Planning have stated - There also appears to be a mismatch between the drawing titles and the information shown. For example, drawings labelled as ‘Existing Floor Plan’ and ‘Proposed Floor Plan’, appear to show 3D visual images rather than floor plans, while drawings labelled ‘Existing Elevation’ and ‘Proposed Elevation’ show different angled views of the 3D model rather than conventional elevation drawings. As submitted, these drawings/3D visuals do not provide sufficient measurable detail to assess the proposal, including the scale, design and visual impact of the porch. Key dimensions including the height of the proposed porch and the existing building are also not shown. Please could you provide revised drawings showing the existing and proposed plans and elevations, drawn to scale, with key dimensions of the existing building and proposed porch clearly labelled at your earliest convenience.

Existing bungalow roof is on a slant, as will the proposed porch be. The existing roof of the bungalow is 3metres 80cm, and it slopes down to 3metres 20cm, to where the new porch will end (to the right hand side if you are looking at it directly). The proposed new porch is 30cm lower, therefore that will be 3metres and 50cm sloping down to 2metres and 90cm.
