Responsibilities:
as a legal assistant, your primary responsibility will be handling immigration cases. However, your role will evolve based on the needs of our office. We value adaptability and may provide cross-training in other legal areas. Additionally, given the nature of our work, you will receive training in various Office Assistant duties and will be expected to perform these tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
Associate degree or equivalent, or a certification in paralegal studies
2-3 years of experience in family-based immigration and court cases
Demonstrated ability to manage case documentation and interact with USCIS and Immigration Courts
Proficiency in typing and Microsoft Office
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to a new office system (training provided)
