Year End account Filling - UK

A competent accountant is sought to prepare the annual financial statements for a UK based micro-company with minimal revenue for the recently concluded fiscal year. The selected candidate will analyze the general ledger and relevant financial documents to extract the necessary data for filing full year-end regulatory reports. Accuracy is paramount as the filings will be reviewed by HMRC. The account involves organizing documentation pertaining to income, expenses, assets and liabilities for the 12 month period. Financial statements to be prepared are an abridged Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet for the micro-entity. The detailed Statement of Financial Position and further notes are not mandated. The freelancer must have working knowledge of UK GAAP and familiarity handling year-end books of small businesses. Competency with Xero, QuickBooks or similar accounting software preferred. Ability to meet deadlines and provide supplementary documentation or clarifications in a timely manner is essential. Interested candidates ideally have 2+ years experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting for small firms in the UK. Strong communication skills and aptitude for detail-oriented work is a must to fulfill statutory filing requirements.
