I’m a landlord with a small property portfolio looking for an experienced freelancer to set up Xero so that my accounts are compliant with HM Revenue & Customs Making Tax Digital requirements.

Scope of Work:

Set up a new Xero account (or review existing setup if needed)
Configure chart of accounts suitable for a small property portfolio
Connect and enable bank feed(s)
Ensure transactions are importing correctly
Set up basic reporting (income, expenses, rental tracking)
Provide a short walkthrough or guidance on using the system

About Me / Business:

Small UK-based landlord
Straightforward portfolio (no complex structures)
Looking for a simple, clean, and compliant setup

Requirements:

Proven experience with Xero setup (especially for landlords/property income)
Familiar with UK tax rules and Making Tax Digital
Ability to complete the setup efficiently and correctly
