Description:
I’m looking for a detail-focused, Xero-experienced accountant or bookkeeper who understands the UK property space to help me enter, review, and tidy up the Xero setup across 4 limited companies.
The breakdown:
• 3 are property holding companies – long-term ownership
• 1 is a trading company – property sourcing business
Project Scope:
For the 3 holding companies:
• Enter a Chart of Accounts (COA) into each Xero org (I’ve already created the full COA in a spreadsheet — you just need to implement it)
• Ensure accounts are correctly named, grouped, and set up with appropriate account types
For the trading company:
• COA already entered in Xero
• Needs a light tidy-up and structure review
• Review tracking categories, CapEx vs OpEx treatment, and intercompany logic
For all 4 companies:
• Review use of tracking categories (per property)
• Sense-check any manual journals, loan entries, CapEx classifications
• Standardise naming and structure across the group
• Fix or flag any miscodings, duplicated accounts, or structural issues

• Year-end tidy-up
• VAT advice (only if required — not filing)

• Are Xero certified
• Understand UK property accounting (SPVs, CapEx, intercompany)

• Can follow a clean process and help refine it (not rebuild it)
