VAT Advise

Hi there,

I need help with my VAT return. I use some accounting software called Quickfile. It links with my bank account and for any transaction I have to 'tag' it to a category. For example stationery, stock, postage etc..

The problem I have is there are so many categories, I often don't know which category to tag transactions too. Also sometimes I can't find any category that matches what the purchase is, and I'm not really sure how much it matters about getting the right category.

So basically I would like some help with tagging transactions, I can provide a list, including the categories. Plus would also like some help on claiming extras on my return, like business mileage, home broadband, mobile phone etc..
