UK Remote Bookkeeper (Xero + CIS) – Ongoing Work (2 Hours/Week)

Description:
MW Solar Ltd is a growing solar PV & battery installation company based in Cornwall. We are looking for a reliable UK-based remote bookkeeper to take over weekly bookkeeping and CIS tasks. The workload is light and should take around 2 hours per week, as long as you’re efficient with Xero and have CIS experience.

This is a long-term ongoing role — we want someone dependable who can keep our accounts clean every week.

Weekly Tasks (approx. 2 hours total)

Process emailed supplier & subcontractor invoices into Xero

Weekly bank reconciliation

Maintain tidy and accurate coding

Manage CIS subcontractor deductions

Prepare monthly CIS returns

Issue CIS statements

Keep VAT-ready records

Query unusual items where needed

Requirements (must have):

✔ UK-based
✔ Strong Xero experience
✔ CIS experience essential (verification, deductions, statements, returns)
✔ Experience with trades, construction, or installation companies
✔ Good communication and accuracy
✔ Able to work remotely and independently

Hours & Rate

~2 hours per week ongoing

£20–£30 per hour depending on experience
