UK Insolvency Practitioner – Wind-Down & Supplier Liaison

We're seeking a UK-based, qualified insolvency practitioner or insolvency advisor to manage the formal insolvency process for a limited company.

Scope of work:

Advise on the most appropriate insolvency route
Prepare and file all required statutory documentation
Handle communications with Companies House and HMRC as required
Provide clear guidance to directors throughout on duties and responsibilities during the process
Manage timeline and ensure compliance with UK insolvency law (Insolvency Act 1986 and subsequent regulations)

Requirements:

Must be a licensed Insolvency Practitioner (regulated by one of the recognised UK bodies — ICAEW, IPA, ACCA, or similar) or working under one
UK-registered company/practice only
Strong working knowledge of UK accountancy standards and insolvency procedure
Experience handling director-led liquidations and creditor negotiations
Comfortable leading or supporting a supplier-facing meeting professionally and discreetly
