Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
Hi,
I’m looking for a qualified accountant to sign off on my Ltd company accounts for a very urgent mortgage application. Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
Accounting software: Free Agent
I am a CIMA chartered accountant and handle my own bookkeeping and tax return. I am PAYE and VAT registered. Initially, my mortgage provider agreed that, as an accountant, they would accept me filing the accounts myself. However, they've now informed me that the underwriter requires an external accounting firm to sign off on the accounts for them to be accepted as I am the 100% shareholder.
I have filed my SA302 online directly with HMRC and have all the necessary details and documents you may need as I had prepared all this for the mortgage application. I can provide these within minutes to hours of requesting them. The mortgage approval is time-sensitive, and I need it to be finalized as soon as possible to avoid losing the property I’m purchasing.
My accounts are very straightforward, but I understand that you will need to review them. All the necessary information is in FreeAgent. I bank with NatWest. For the financial year ended 31st January, income was generated from three clients. Major expenses include my PAYE and subcontractor costs, travel related costs and legal costs. I maintain detailed right-to-work checks and contracts and documentation. I started my business on January 2, 2024, and the accounts are for the period ending 31st January 2025 (the first 13 months).
If this is something you are able to help with or if you have any questions, please let me know. Please share with me as well, what it will cost to get this done.
Best regards,
