Ongoing assistance with bookkeeping and VAT reports

I need some assistance with our bookkeeping:

- I have some general best practices questions
- Need some help adding starting balances for 2015
- Ongoing assistance when I generate quarterly reports, to make sure everything looks ok!

Example question re best practices: I have a personal bank account that I also use to pay business invoices once or twice a month. How can I best record those transactions?
