One-off FreeAgent year-end bookkeeping clean up

Job description:
I'm looking for a UK-based, FreeAgent-experienced bookkeeper for a one-off fixed-fee engagement to tidy my books ahead of year end. This is not an ongoing monthly retainer — I just need the accounts cleaned up and reconciled so they're ready for my accountant to file.
Business details:
- UK limited company, VAT-registered (standard scheme)
- Accounting software: FreeAgent (I'll grant you collaborator access)
- Multi-currency (GBP + [USD/EUR — specify])
- Approx. <500 transactions across the year
- Accounting year end: [DD Month]
Scope of work:
1. Review and correct all transaction categorisation for the financial year
2. Reconcile all bank, credit card and PayPal/foreign-currency accounts to statements
3. Resolve any duplicates, uncoded or mis-coded transactions
4. Tidy the director's loan / personal expenses account (if applicable)
5. Ensure all VAT returns for the period are consistent with the reconciled books
6. Flag any issues, missing receipts or queries for me to resolve
7. Deliver: a clean, fully reconciled set of FreeAgent books ready for year-end filing
Not included in scope:
- Year-end accounts filing to Companies House/HMRC (my accountant handles this)
- Ongoing monthly bookkeeping
- Tax advisory / planning
Requirements:
- Confident, experienced FreeAgent user (please confirm accreditation if you have it)
- UK-based, familiar with UK VAT and multi-currency handling
- Comfortable working from incomplete/messy records
- Independent — able to make sensible categorisation judgements and flag queries rather than stall
What I need from you to quote:
- A fixed fee for the full job (not hourly), or a clearly capped hourly rate with an estimate
- Estimated turnaround
- Brief outline of similar FreeAgent cleanup work you've done
I can share a read-only view of the current books before you finalise a quote if helpful.
Budget: open to discussion based on the books.
Timeline: Need it completed by end September
