Management Accountant

I run a UK outsourced finance service for private and mixed NHS/private dental practices. I'm looking for an experienced management accountant to produce monthly management accounts and a dentist-specific KPI pack for my clients, delivered white-label under my brand. This is ongoing work, starting with one or two practices and scaling to around 10 over the next 12 months.

What you'll produce each month (per practice)

Management accounts from Xero: P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and budget/prior-period variance commentary.
A dental KPI overlay, combining Xero data with practice management software exports (e.g. Dentally, Software of Excellence, R4):
Gross production per clinician (dentist vs hygienist)
Private vs NHS revenue split and revenue per UDA
Case acceptance, chair occupancy, and no-show rate
New patients (numbers and source) and recall/retention rate
Lab fees as % of private revenue, and materials cost per UDA/patient
Staff costs as % of revenue, and NHS pension contribution accruals
Revenue and margin by service line (restorative, hygiene, cosmetic, ortho, implants, oral surgery)
Automatic variance flagging: any metric moving more than 10% from the practice's own average must be highlighted with a short explanation.

Requirements

Qualified or part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with a strong management accounts background
Confident in Xero; experience with Excel/Google Sheets, Power BI, or Looker Studio reporting is a plus
UK accounting knowledge; dental or healthcare experience is a strong advantage
Able to build a repeatable template so reports are consistent across practices
Willing to sign an NDA and work white-label (no client contact unless agreed)
Reliable turnaround: reports delivered within 10 working days of month end
