Description of support work: The work is home based and hours flexible (in conjunction with client delivery timeframes) with the scope to take on as many or few clients as you wish. Working from weekly scanned data, using QuickBooks (desktop version). Work involves (dependent on level of experience):
Accounts production to Trial Balance level.
Management Accounts.
VAT calculation

We’re constantly on the hunt for qualified ‘Results Oriented Individuals’ with a strong work ethic to support us. In addition to:
A formal accounting qualification (AAT/ ICB / IAB/ ACCA/ CIMA).
Experience of the full accounting life cycle (Bookkeeping. Management Accounts, VAT).
We're searching for individuals possessing the following characteristics:
Deadline driven.
Conscientious.
Client focused.
Proactive.
Strong written communication skills.
Willing to invest in relevant accounting software (QuickBooks Desktop Proadvisor) QuickBooks provide free software for a trial month, QuickBooks provide free software for a trial month, you can then purchase with a 20% discount via Fairmile.
Hold PI insurance to £250k.
Possess a full and current practise license.
See below for the monthly set fee / time budget per client. Carefully modelled against an average client and listed by fee per activity. Entry level work will involve:
Purchase invoice entry
Sales journal entry
Bank reconciliation
We anticipate your responsibilities, (and therefore income) increasing as you progress with Fairmile and we allocate further clients (this is flexible in line with your requirements):
Purchase Invoice Entry
120 mins (at £15 p/h = £30)
Sales Journal Entry
15 mins (at £15 p/h = £3.75)
Bank Reconciliation
45 mins (at £15 p/h = £11.25)
Management Accounts pack creation
45 mins (at £15 p/h = £11.25)
If you’re happy to progress, we will issue an assessment - On successful completion, we will discuss processes, confirm a start date and allocate a client for the trial month, to ensure all parties are comfortable to proceed.
