Description

Hey,
I am in the process of starting an eCommerce business in the gaming industry (www.munkeykeys.com). I am using Quickbooks for my accounts and have tried to develop a workflow which is largely automated. I need a bit of help in the following areas:
- Taking a look at my quickbooks and advising on if anything is recorded wrongly. e.g. should be registered under different COA, correctly working the directors loan account
- Help to streamline my accounts workflow (I'm not looking for day-to-day bookkeeping support at this stage)
- General accountancy advice to make sure I am a) following rules correctly b) I am maximising revenue/minimising expenses
In theory my project should be pretty straightforward for someone with strong skills/experience in Quickbooks and business accountancy.....knowledge of eCommerce and/or the gaming industry would also be very helpful. I imagine the initial aspect of it would involve a little digging into my books and a few emails/phone conversations but I am also looking for 'the right person' who can provide regular ad-hoc support whilst my business grows. Ideal candidate might be someone nearing the end of their studies or currently working in accountancy but looking to set up their own practice
Whilst budget is fairly minimal at the moment I'd be happy to re-evaluate as the business and our relationship progresses so I'd welcome proposals with this in mind but may be up for a bit of negotiation for the right match
Thanks for reading :)
