!2 Month Assignment, 2-3 days per week in Acton / Park Royal, West London
We need a bright enthusiastic Management Accountant to work with the CEO of a Successful Consultancy Company to keep all the books AND ALSO work with the top team to engineer a 50% expansion in top line revenue as the UK comes out of recession.
We are a small successful management training consultancy with an impressive range of blue chip FT-250 clients and a passion for quality. We need someone that we can trust to manage all our financial affairs, who not only works with absolute accuracy but also has the initiative and pro-activity to understand what the figures are saying. You will be working directly for the CEO and be closely involved with our expansion plans.
The role will include:
Delivering full and accurate book-keeping - invoicing, sales ledger, purchase ledger, bank recs, PAYE, VAT
Mastery of Sage! Expertise in Sage 50 is a must, knowledge of Sage 100 would be an advantage
Chasing our FT top 500 clients for prompt payment - and getting it!
Reporting and presenting monthly business results including preparing and analysing budgets, P&L production, monthly management accounts, cash flow projections and other industry specific monitoring tools to help us drive the business forwards. A high level of skill with Excel will be essential.(pivots, v lookups, macros)
Business and expansion planning
Accurate forecasting and monitoring of results
End of year closing the books
Managing and interpreting a number of other records (Marketing results, HR systems etc)
Ad hoc project work
And anything else to help our tight team work better, give a higher quality service and make more money.
Please Note:
You must be AAT qualified or part qualified CIMA or ACCA with at least 24 months experience working in a finance environment.
Educated to degree level
You must have all your work permits in place and be willing and able to stay with us for 12 months.
There will be direct client contact so fluent high quality English is a must.

This an exciting opportunity, however the role is demanding and we want someone, dependable, progressive and friendly, who can use initiative will interact well with our team and has a spark of life about them.
