Bookkeeper

Small yet perfectly formed tailors firm requires book-keeper for approx 6 hours a week (sometimes more, sometimes less) for business with annual turnover of £350-350k.
Weekly tasks will include:
Purchase ledger - roughly 20-30 invoices a week
Sales ledger - roughly 50 transactions per week
Managing payment runs

Monthly tasks to include:
Bank & Credit Card statement reconciliation
Card processing reconcilliation
Petty cash reconcilliation
VAT reconcilliation
Payroll processing and tax payments

The ideal person should have experience of a similar sized retail business and ideally be fully aware of the VAT and Tax implications of importing and exporting goods. Experience of Sage LIne 50 a must as is a minimum of 3 professional references.

Premises is near Spitalfields Market and all work will need to be done on-site. Your quote should include travel time and travel expenses.

Work needs to start mid-April to ensure proper handover.
