Hi All,
I have a relatively simple & quick excel problem I'd like help with.
The existing Excel sheet has a front graph with three data feeds (S&P 500 index, VIX Index, and a moving average calculation)
The data that feeds these graphs is in another tab with about 18 columns in a separate tab, arranged in date order with yesterday in last row.
I have nearly developed a Macro that would go into the second tab, copy the new data from the top row, paste it on the very last row, and then "drag down" the calculations from the previous rows.
What I would like is somebody to solve the following basic problem in the VBA code:
How do I insert "Range.Special" VBA code or other VBA code in order to make the Macro automatically find the last row, update today's date, and then do the same thing the next day (find the last row, update the formulas and info for that day's date), and so on? If you know excel and VBA well I know this will be a 10 minute job for you.
I need to ensure: 1. the Graph on the front page updates (think it does this already but test it), 2. the VBA within the existing Macro reads the last _blank_ row and does the tasks within the VBA, 3. It is capable of doing this every day without deleting any of the previous info, and works consistently.
Imagine essentially 18 rows of data normally being "expanded" down by a row. The only new data is 3x fields that are automatically populated with today's information from Yahoo (already working). I just need to "expand" all 18 columns down one row, insert today's date and update the 3 new pieces of information. The only thing not working is how to get the VBA/Macro to recognize the last row.
