PART TIME ACCOUNTS ADMIN ASSISTANT, UK REMOTE
10/12 hours per week over 3 half days
Mon, Wed, Fri - will consider any sensible part time arrangement
DESCRIPTION
We’re looking for an experienced, self starter Accounts Admin Assistant to help us manage the accounts inbox, process invoices and monitor queries. You’ll have experience working as an accounts assistant / AP / AR role & will understand and appreciate the nuances of working within an SME environment.
We’re a dynamic, 25 person business in the ecommerce furniture sector which is tough and definitely isn’t for everyone! The pace is fast, expectations are high and resources are always constrained.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Accounts Admin Assistant will be responsible for:
Bank reconciliation in Xero
Accounts inbox processing, filing, monitoring & responding to queries
Coding invoices to correct accounts in Xero
Raising supplier container POs
Sending supplier remittances
REQUIREMENTS
Essential
Must reside & have the right to work in the UK
Immediately available
Experience working with Xero
Experience working as accounts assistant or AP/AR
Basic excel
Ability to work without supervision
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
Ability to liaise with external parties (suppliers/finance/admin) without supervision
Deadline driven
