General information for the business: Group of small companies in the field of International Trade and management services

Description of support work: We are looking for who can handle the accounts, invoicing, bank relationship, tax reporting and planning, of 2 small companies. The first company is more of a holding/investment company with no active invoicing and simple recurring monthly expenses to the bank account. The second one is a trade startup engaged in the international trade (import/export) with limited number of monthly transactions/invoicing.
1) The right person should be able to upgrade and take the ownership of the compliance and reporting of both companies.
2) He should be also responsible for end of submission of quarterly management report.
3) Reviewing the business activities and applying for any needed licenses/reporting and take responsibility of any reporting or amendment needed in the article of association in view of which.
4) Issuance of invoices and follow up the collection.
5) Reviewing the contractual relationships between companies and trading partners/customers/suppliers and prepare any documentation, templates, or agreements-in coordination with lawyers if necessary- in order to upgrade the compliance profile of companies.
6) Prepare director return, yearend reports, and other necessary reporting to companies House, Tax authority, banking institutions.
7) Preferably someone who can lead or supervise business development on a case-by-case basis through direct contact or through introductions to relevant bodies or brokers. This is not a recurring job and will be invoiced separately on a case-by-case basis.
8) Preferably someone who can introduce the company to different professional associations and introduce it to relevant lenders on a case-by-case basis too.
Extra notes: We will start on hourly basis for the first 3-6 month and perhaps should subsequently to a monthly retainer or a part time job.
On-site meetings will be needed from time to time.
