Accountant

We are a firm of accountants in the UK. We are looking to outsource some of our work to experienced individuals or firms. We are only looking for someone who has extensive experience of preparing accounts and VAT Returns for UK clients.

We are NOT looking for anyone who has expertise in bookkeeping in Xero, QuickBooks or Sage. We want someone who understands how to use these cloud accounting softwares well, so that they can export reports out to assist them in preparing statutory accounts. Our work is largely excel based.

Our ideal person would have these qualities:
1. Advance Excel — Understands IF Functions, VLOOKUP etc
2. Very experienced in preparing accounts using the Extended Trial Balance method using excel.
3. Understands UK Accounting Standards
4. Understands UK VAT

In return —

We will offer regular hourly or fixed rate work, which will include preparing annual accounts and preparing quarterly VAT returns, and occasionally helping us with bookkeeping in Xero. You will work closely with our qualified CAs who will review/advise on your work.
