Luxury Logistics, Authentication & Insurance Project Manager

VANDALUX is a pre-launch, pre-incorporation digital marketplace being developed for pre-owned and high-value luxury goods, including watches, jewellery, handbags, fine art and collectibles.

I am looking for an experienced, hands-on Operations Project Manager / Consultant to take ownership of a specific provider-sourcing and operational workstream in preparation for a future Commercial Launch.

The project covers three connected areas:

• Independent authentication providers for high-value luxury goods
• High-value logistics across Europe
• Transit insurance / specialist insurance brokerage for valuable shipments

This is not a research-only or advisory assignment. The selected professional should be able to actively manage the workstream on behalf of VANDALUX, including:

• assessing our proposed operational requirements and transaction routes;
• researching and identifying suitable providers in Europe and internationally;
• contacting providers directly by email and telephone;
• handling English-language provider calls and follow-ups;
• obtaining indicative commercial and operational terms;
• comparing providers, coverage, value limits, geographic availability, exclusions, costs and operational requirements;
• identifying gaps or dependencies between authentication, transport and insurance;
• recommending one or more practical, launch-ready solutions.

A representative future transaction route may be:

Seller → Independent Authenticator → Buyer

The objective is to establish how such a route can work operationally, including who transports the item, how each stage can be insured, applicable value/category/geographic limits, and what provider arrangements would be required.

VANDALUX is currently in pre-launch development. No commercial transactions are currently being executed. Provider activation and final implementation would take place later, if and when the marketplace proceeds to Commercial Launch, potentially in several months.

The immediate assignment is therefore focused on feasibility, provider sourcing and engagement, collection of real commercial and operational information, and development of a launch-ready framework.

Relevant experience may include operations/project management, vendor or provider sourcing, high-value logistics, insurance/broker engagement, luxury/resale marketplaces, authentication services, procurement or cross-border operations.
