I want to discuss wether it’s more beneficial to hire someone on an employee basis or a contract basis. The person currently works on average 10-15 hours per week on contract £15/hr. What would the equivalent be if they were taken on as an employee. I’m not necessarily trying to save money here - I want to offer security from both sides but don’t want to end up paying more. What hourly rate would I offer as an employee?
