Give 1 Hour Training Session on Accessibility for PDFs

Accessibility Training

I am looking for someone to assist me with a accessibility training session, I have a large client based in the United States and effected by ADA (American Disability Act), I have very limited time to put something together (1 week). Whilst I am skilled in ADA consultancy work, I am not confident with doing a live training session for a small group.

Please only apply if you are confident you can deliver.

Below are some quick points to help you understand what is needed.

1) The training is to give a basic understanding of ADA
2) It is to be focused on PDF but as the users do make some PDF via powerpoint there may be some cross over between pptx and pdf.
3) The training session will be between 30 and 40mins long and then 10mins of question/answers
4) The client is a large brand that will have about 10 managers joining us for the session.
5) If the session goes well there may be follow up training or new training for other staff members
6) I have put a document together of basic ADA and shared it with the client already.
7) Your job will be to expand on this, show your own examples (non branded) and show live how to setup a file in powerpoint, convert to PDF and check ADA status of the PDF.
8) Show and edit a basic PDF file for ADA compliance.
9) Be confident for when questions are ask, and happy to show those in the group examples and live edits.
10) The training session is already booked for
Friday, 14 November⋅18:00 – 19:00 (UK time)

Included in the fee you will prepare for the call, i will introduce you to the session attendees who i know well, you will then lead the session, I will be on the call to introduce and assist only.

This is a confidencial session, no recording will be permitted by you, however the client will record the session for reference.
