Description of support work: Customer Account Manager Role
A small but rapidly growing technology and marketing company within the golf industry, is seeking a Customer Account Manager
The successful candidate will handle client accounts using the Golf Club Network (websites) and One Golf Network (tee time booking systems/opens bookings) products.
The company has around 150 golf club customers and is currently engaged in a process of moving website customers across from its existing and outdated platform to a new Word press platform.
The Customer account manager will be expected to foster the relationship between the company and the customer as well as handle any projects, accounts, or issues that might be relative to that client. They will liaise with the clientele to assure them of their importance and help to build trust in the business. The initial focus will be on:- Making contact with and reviewing which customers need to transfer Beginning the communication process with those clients on the existing platform to start the transfer across to the new platform To handle that process from the decision making through to the successful launch of the new site liaising with the golf club, the company’s development manager and web build team Provide support and reassurance to customers Respond to client communications or queries and resolve any client issues. This will not involve technical support as this is handled by an additional team but will focus on customer satisfaction issues Provide good quality control and ensure all the products are to a high standard on launch and monitored to maintain that standard. Skills required: Be able to communicate efficiently – verbally, in print mainly via email and on the phone Be detail oriented Be able to Multitask and handle several client accounts Be able to manage time and projects effectively Be able to work along with a small team working under pressure
Have knowledge and experience in using websites and tee time booking systems as an end user and the ability to pick up those skills quickly with training Have efficient networking skills Have initiative, motivation and focus Be willing to develop extensive knowledge of the company’s products and services and become the front line point of contact for the clients Be professional Understand how golf clubs work and their skill level and access to resource The position will be a freelance role with an hourly rate of up to £20 per hour. It is expected that the candidate will be expected to work up to 15 hours per week initially, spread over a minimum of four days to ensure consistent customer access.
