Xero Bookkeeper – Short-Term Catch-Up (UK Based)

I’m looking for a UK-based freelance bookkeeper to help bring my Xero accounts up to date.

This is a short-term clean-up project following a busy period and maternity leave cover gap.

Scope of work:
• Reconcile Xero accounts (currently behind)
• Work through email inbox to identify transactions and receipts
• Organise and input paper/digital receipts
• Ensure everything is correctly categorised and up to date
• Prepare accounts to a clean handover state for new accountant/bookkeeper

Requirements:
• UK-based
• Strong experience with Xero (must be confident, not learning on the job)
• Comfortable working through incomplete/messy records
• Able to work quickly and independently
• Good judgement on categorisation

Nice to have:
• Experience with agencies/creative businesses
• Familiarity with VAT returns in the UK

Timing:
• Ideally start immediately
• Intensive short-term project (1–2 weeks)
