Description of excel work: We are a small start up business looking for a highly experienced Excel professional to help streamline various parts of our day to day Excel tasks.
We are looking to design and implement a macro/ programme that will retrieve images from a central database and input next to the correct model reference within an excel sheet. The excel sheet will have numerous model references listed and we need to ensure that the correct image is inserted next to the correct model ref and data.
In addition to the images automatically being inserted at the 'click of a button', they also need to move with the data when applying sorts / filters.
At present, we are cutting a pasting images into excel documents. As you can imagine, this is very time consuming.
Attached is a sheet where we have done the cutting & pasting.

Hi Sanjay - is this project still live? If so -
1. what version of Excel are you using?
2. is this for PC, Mac or both?
3. do the file names contain a unique ID such as the EAN?
4. are the files in a database or just in a directory? if in a database how is it accessed?

Are the filenames of the pictures similar to the model number or EAN code, so this can be automated?
