Description
Experience Level: Entry
Basic clerical duties such as:
a. mailshots (non-electronic i.e. by post)
b. follow-up phonecalls (of necessary)
c. contacting compnaies by email and then phone follow up if necessary
I would say who to contact.
Example 1 :
I want every village hall within 20 miles of Oxford to be contacted to check availability and cost of hall hire.
I send Google search for village halls.
You then email, follow up phonecall if no reply and then supply me with a list of halls, availability and costs.
Example 2:
I give you a list of schools and headed stationery. I also give you a standard letter.
You mail merge and post the letters to the schools I have given you on the list.
Follow-up phonecall. (I give you basic information to talk to them about)
Your charges:
Your charges would be on a time basis PLUS phone charges at cost + a stationery charge for printing. (You state the printing charge in your Bid)
Example 3
I say to you I want to put a play on in London.
You spend a few hours looking for theatre venues and then check availability and costs.
You charge me your hourly rate (which has been stated in the Bid)
At all times you are using an email address I provide.
You bill me monthly with a bill showing:
a. hours
b. rate per hour
c. one line saying task
d. costs (eg phone bill)
How I select the bidder
A combination of Ratings, feedback, skills offered and rate per hour.
I run www.almostrandomtheatre.co.uk which is a theatre in Oxford.
It's likely there will also be some marketing co-ordination...
I may well end up sourcing the Job to more than one Bidder.
