Virtual Admin for Swiss Financial Advisory

I have a small boutique advisory based in Geneva, Switzerland with a couple of people working in a distributed team in England, China etc... it's very small and the number of people is always less than 5.

I am traveling frequently and I need a VA to help me be more efficient and to keep me organized and to help me produce content. I've had someone working with me for the last five years, and we worked well together but due to health reasons, she's relocated and had to reduce her workload.

My experience is that it doesn't make sense to talk up how big things can go or where they can go, because in a virtual distributed organization, it all depends on how well people work together and if things fall into place and I can easily offload more tasks. So I typically start with some tasks and if things work well together, then start offloading on more.

The important thing for me is that once I delegate you a task, I've got to be able to cross it off my list/out of my mind and building the confidence that something is done only happens over time.

Because of the nature of the work, I need a fluent French speaker even though most of the work happens in English, Geneva is French speaking and there's a certain base of work and appointments and contacts/correspondence that has to be done in French.

But fluent English, both spoken and written is imperative as well.
