WHO ARE WE?
We are a centre for the professional training of massage and holistic therapists. We are based in Manchester, UK, and students come to train with us from all over the North-West of England and North Wales. Our centre is accredited by the VTCT, one of the main awarding bodies in the UK, and our qualifications are recognised internationally.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a virtual administration assistant to join our small dedicated team of professionals and perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Someone who has experience in social media marketing and copywriting would be a bonus.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?
Key responsibilities would include answering and redirecting email enquiries, taking course bookings, sending communications and course notes to students, invoicing and keeping track of made and overdue payments, developing and maintaining a shared electronic filing/management system, updating and maintaining office policies and procedures, maintaining contact lists of prospective and current students and alumni, liaising with teaching staff to handle requests and queries from prospective and current students. Creating and scheduling social media content, occasional writing of blogposts and marketing emails
WHO SHOULD APPLY?
We are looking for a confident, competent and qualified individual who has at least 3 years relevant experience within administration and customer care. Excellent standard of spoken and written English is essential. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Dropbox in a professional client management setting is essential. Experience in the use of social media and blogs for business promotion and client engagement would be highly desirable. Experience of mail chimp and WordPress would be an asset but not essential.
Previous experience of the massage /holistic therapy industry would be an advantage but not essential. Interest in complementary health and well-being and a knowledge of the industry would be an asset.
WHAT ARE THE WORKING HOURS?
Usually between 2-5 hours each week. This is subject to change, depending on the available workload. Schedule of working hours will be negotiated in interview phase; however, the majority of these should be within UK working hours (Monday to Friday 9:00-17:00 GMT).
Pay is £ 10.00/hour.
