Description
Experience Level: Entry
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
PLEASE NOTE: Preference will be given to proposals from people familiar with this Haggadah text!
(Near-)native English is a must.
The document is bi-lingual, English - Hebrew. I need to English text only.
I expect a clean running text version in WORD true to the original with at least 95% accuracy.
I expect you to communicate with me about whatever questions may arise.
Spelling and or grammatical mistakes in the original should NOT be corrected!
Instructions (READ CAREFULLY):
I did not manage to download this document. It is readable online. It can be found in the document reader of the Israel National Library here:
http://web.nli.org.il/sites/nli/Hebrew/library/Pages/BookReader.aspx?pid=751782
The beginning of the document does not have page numbers which makes it difficult to give instructions. However, there is a navigating bar underneath the reader which indicates which page you are on.
I only need the text on the page on the left. You can therefore press on the “+” on the upper left corner of the reader to see only the English. You scroll the text by dragging the bar on the right.
At the bottom of each page there is the first word of the next page. No need to type this out.
Start typing from the word sanctification which can be found on page 8 [no page number] (The first page that has the word PASSOVER at the top of the page.)
No need to type out the headers of the pages (page number, title). No need to include horizontal dividing lines in between paragraphs. No need to include footnotes nor their references in the text. Each paragraph starts with a few Hebrew words. No need to indicate this. If Hebrew is used in the middle of a paragraph or sentence, indicate this in red with the words ”Hebrew word - pagenumber #”
Please stay in contact throughout the project letting me know about progress and questions you
