Technical Assistant (4–5 days/week) — Reports to Director
1:1 Freelancer, Not agency
We’re looking for a proactive Technical Assistant to support the Director with document production, data tracking and evidence-based research. You’ll create Google Docs, Google Sheets/Excel and PowerPoint decks, verify AI outputs against primary sources, perform light CMS and technical tasks, and support privacy/security workflows. As a company we have powerful tools (Osano, ObservePoint, Upgaurd, AccessibleWeb) and want to better uses these tools to help our clients.
Example tasks: research website cookies, check privacy consent banners, perform basic CMS updates for client websites and make the data we have useful. This may be in the form of a spreadsheet or slides within Google workspace.
Must-have: strong Google Workspace and Excel skills, clear & concise writing, solid online research judgement (AI + non-AI), and the ability to work fast, check your own work and own projects end-to-end.
Advantageous: experience with Osano, UpGuard and ObservePoint.
Hours: 8 hours per day 4 days per week, preferred overlap hours 09:00 –14:00 UK.
