The ask
We're planning a 1-day/1-night company away day and need a shortlist of [3–5] options for venue + accommodation, plus [2–3] activity options for each. I'll choose from your shortlist and would like you to handle the booking.

• Total: To be discussed
• Includes: accommodation, meals, activities, meeting space, AV
• Excludes: travel to/from venue (people make own way / we'll arrange separately)

Location
• Preferred area: London/South/Midlands
• Must be reachable by: train / car

The vibe
• Purpose: team bonding / strategy offsite / mid-year review
• Tone: relaxed and informal
• We are into: different activities; past include: canoeing around the Olympic village, staying in a castle in Devon with bbq/fun on the river, walks, good food. Not into anything cheesy or forced ice-breakers

Venue must-haves
• Private meeting/conference room for c.20 people for morning/afternoon
• AV: screen, projector, decent wifi
• All bedrooms en-suite – ideally no sharing
• Exclusive use - nice-to-have
• Would be good to stay somewhere different/quirky; not just a standard hotel

Activity preferences
• Up for: something different or not run-of-the-mill
• Not up for: paintball, anything with heights, anything corporate, anything predominantly drinking-led
• Want a mix of active / cerebral / creative
