Sorting an excel file/Abbreviate terms/split multiple values

There are entries in the first column which are applications like (WB is western blot, ICC immunocytochemistry). I would like leave the first column as is and if a row has multiple values then
1) Separate the values in across each column on the same row. For Ex: A5 has IHC,ELISA. I would like IHC in B5 and ELISA in C5.
2) The delimiter is either a comma or a semi-colon.
3) All sentences can be left alone, no need to split them unless they have specific terms mentioned in point 6. They will need to be split and abbreviated.
4) If a cell has only one value I would still duplicate it onto the adjacent cell. For Ex A2 has WB, it needs to be copied onto B2.
5) Any special characters need to be deleted(like –).
*6) Any terms like Immunoflorescence need to be made IF, Immunocytochemistry will be ICC, Immunohistochemistry is IHC, Wester Blot is WB, Dot Blot is DB, Chromatin Immunoprecipitation is ChIP, RNA binding protein is RIP, Flow Cytometry FC.
There are 7500 odd rows in total.
