About the Role:
JDBC Construction is looking for freelance recruiters to help with the hiring of carpenters and/or apprentice carpenters in Perth, Western Australia.
About You:
You will need to be able to source, screen and assist in hiring the right candidates for the role.
You will need to know the Australian building industry well and understand unique ways that attract talent here in this space - above all, your ability to find good people fast is essential!
You will need to be a self-starter and experienced in cold calling, emailing and networking. Your knowledge of recruitment must include online advertising, social media and LinkedIn.
You can be based anywhere as long as you are willing to make weekly phone calls or Zoom meetings (during business hours) with our Perth operations staff.
Required Skills:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of the Australian local employment market, including the hiring needs of the construction industry and details about typical work assignments.
• Ability to fully manage the recruitment process and be able to screen and present quality candidates for our team to review.
• Awareness of geographic labour markets in Australia, specifically WA.
Pay: The successful candidate will be awarded on an hourly basis based on experience and expertise.
