Provide a PP presentation of University Tennis packages for recruitment purposes selling University tennis programmes for mostly elite players.
Basic university of Bath package ideas: Presentation to develop to visting 6th Forms colleges and potential players 16-18 and postgraduates. Aim to recruit and sell Univeristy Tennis at elite sporting University

free for team players. Term time.
- 3 training squads a week
- Bucs matches and National Weekends Comps
- 1 free play session on indoor courts
- 2 group s + c fitness sessions


2: Uni package as above with access to High Performance academy sessions- paying for each session approx. £20. 
They can access the academy out of term time.
They can only access academy sessions if coaches agree that there is value to this.

3: uni + academy
- do a minimum of two uni squads a week
Play bucs matches. They can miss these for main draw future matches
- Personalise their program so will mix in with academy/senior sessions, use academy - coaches- squads and individuals
- Have their own s + c program
- Can train all year round
- Tournament schedule and psp work done

As you mention rob I think we can use this program to help players/parents see a pathway for players.
To do this, I think we can discount the 'next stage' if they have been at bath for the stage before: e.g if have been at academy for six form then they will get a discount if come to uni and want to access/use academy. Also- if they have come through the uni program they can get some discount on senior program if they decide to play.
This will show that we have full belief in our system.

Fees: (exact fees to be discussed but based around this idea)

Basic uni package: free

Uni package + access:
¥ been at bath: £10 per session. £25 for individuals
¥ New to bath: £20 per session. £35 for individuals

Uni + academy:
¥ been at bath: £1750 per year
¥ New to bath: £2500 per year

(If come through uni and are ready to play we could discount their first two years as a senior player:
E.g 
¥ been at bath £3000 per year
¥ New to bath £3600 per year

Scholarships:
We have to be open to offering scholarships if we really want a player in- like an American uni. This would be up to us what we want to offer a player.

Extra funding:
TASS: this is slightly out of our control but we can put players forward for it. I think Hursty got £500 this year
There are some additional pots of funding that the uni has- that can be used for players to have extra Physio etc. Will need to find exact details

Grades:
This is my understanding:
Foundation course:
- a minimum of two c's.
- If are on for a 2:1 after the second year they will have an option to stay on for a 3rd year and get a full degree
This offers a timetable that players can train a lot. We are also in contact with lecturers to help keep players on track 

Normal degrees: entries vary for you are mainly looking at A's. Timetables vary but obviously a lot are full on. Sports courses certainly seem more understanding that students will be competing. 

Selling points over American uni:
¥ individual attention. Our focus is based on developing the individual not just the team
¥ All year round. Not working to term time- can keep working through the uni holidays. (Don't do this in the states)
¥ Opportunities to hit with pro players. To see and hit in with top players is a massive opportunity
¥ Tournaments: we have to make up their program with uni matches, futures and BT's. (This is our challenge- making sure the players get enough matches)

I think this is the way we can step up the quality of the uni program and attract some 'serious' players. By putting a cost on it we are showing that we value what we do and you don't have to go to America to progress.
