We're expanding and following an internal restructure we have a vacancy for a part time administrator.
The position is about 5-10 hours per week, but this will slowly increase as the business continues to grow and could well turn into a full time position.
You don't need to be based in the UK, however all your work will be carried out during the UK working day, between 9am-5pm. English does not need to be your first language or mother tongue, however you must have exceptional written English because you will be liaising via email and live chat with UK companies.
The job is varied and will develop and grow over time, however initially these are the tasks you will be required to carry out.
1 - Contact retailers and request a VAT invoice for all of our purchases
2 - Be in constant contact with our prep centre and be able to resolve issues with retailers where received items are missing, damaged or the wrong product
3 - To keep our records both accurately and up to date. Using invoices to work out the cost price of our items and input this information on our Google sheets
4 - To know which items are where in the delivery system e.g in transit or waiting to be checked in to the prep centre.
5 - To discover any items missing, to check tracking details where possible and speak to retailers to resolve the situation. The idea is to eliminate or at least reduce lost/missing items
5 - To logically and simply file all VAT receipts received from the retailers in a shared drive so our book keeper can easily access it.
6 - To be available to other members of the team and to send them copies of invoices as and when they require them.
