Load club data from their websites

I need someone to go through my database of swimming clubs and validate the information and add extra information to them. At the moment each record has the name of the club and maybe a website.

For clubs with a website listed I need you to verify that the website is valid, then go to the contact us (or club information) page and find the contact telephone number and/or email address, I also need you to find out which swimming pools they swim at. If the swimming pools are not in my database then I need you to add a note to the club with the name of the pools that need to be added. If the swimming pools are in the database then there is a form on my site to add them to the club details. For each club I need a short description (max 3 paragraphs) to be added to the club details (where available on their website).

To summarise, I need telephone, email address, website and description and swimming pools for each club.

For clubs without a website I need you to search Google for the club (I have added a link to do this easily) and if it is found then enter the details above as well as entering the website. If the website cannot be found then I need that to be noted in the notes. Normally when searching Google "SC" in a club name needs to be replaced with "Swimming Club", the following abbreviations need to be replaced as follows:

DC -> Diving Club
WPC -> Water Polo Club

If there are more that one contact for a club then please enter the general enquiries or secretary contact.

The notes in the database must be in a specific format so that I can work with them programmatically later.

For missing pools, enter "POOL : [Pool name]" in the notes on its own line. eg. POOL : Hammersmith Swimming Pool

If you cannot find a club website or any information about it then enter NOSITE into the notes.

When all the data is entered into the club details, enter "VERIFIED : [date]", eg. VERIFIED 21/12/10. Do this even if you cannot find the club or any extra information.

Some clubs listed under 'A' have been done as an example.

There are 1145 clubs in the database. I have estimated a maximum of 5 minutes per entry if there is no website listed and you have to find it with Google. This means that the entry should take around 96 hours. This is a top-end estimate because most clubs have a website listed and I estimate that it will take around 3 minutes per club, if the website information is there.

The clubs are listed in alphabetical groups. Please contact me after doing the first letter so that I can verify that the data is entered in the right format and it is good quality.

All entry will be done via my website. Once the job is accepted I will give you a username and password to log into my site.

IMPORTANT : Some parts of the admin section of my site do not work in Internet Explorer. You must download and use either Google Chrome or Firefox to do this job.
