I need a Linux Admin to go to the Equinix Datacenter, reset the root password (details below)/reinstall ubuntu server 64 (if the first part fails), and set up the network interface.
Resetting the root password:
- booting via Ubuntu 64 on USB, installing mdadm and chrooting into /dev/md1, running the passwd program and then rebooting
- alternatively, boot via Ubuntu 64 on USB, set up IP address and install sshd leaving me access to do the job
Note: this will require the Admin to proceed to Equinix Datacenter, located on London
