Job Overview:
We’re recruiting a dedicated customer support agent for a full-time role, serving a UK-based floral gifting company (we'll keep the name under wraps for now). Your role will be to deliver compassionate and highly professional support to our customers, who are often older and occasionally dealing with sensitive situations such as bereavement.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to customer inquiries on platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and via email.
Engage with comments and messages, ensuring a warm and empathetic tone.
Handle phone calls professionally, assisting customers with orders and queries.
Use British English exclusively in all written communication—no Americanisms or non-UK phrasing.
Work UK hours from 8am to 5pm (BST/GMT), Monday to Friday.
Requirements:
Native-level fluency in English is essential. We strongly prefer native speakers or candidates who are 100% fluent.
Ability to communicate with empathy, especially with older customers and in sensitive contexts.
Comfortable with phone-based customer service and using scripts to assist with order processing.
Able to provide their own computer and smartphone (we'll reimburse phone usage costs as needed).
