Feedback spreadsheet for students

I want to create a spreadsheet through which I can easily give feedback to my 9th grade students. I'd like to have one spreadsheet with all of their names in private tabs on the bottom. I want to be able to communicate with them through the spreadsheet. For example, they could input work on their spreadsheet in column A and then I could give them feedback in column B through my master spreadsheet.
