Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the business: Account Management
Industry: Healthcare
Description of excel work: I would like to automate an algorithm into excel based on repeating codes in excel over time. These occurrences will be in tied to a date and time in each row and i need to create an algorithm so that if the occurrence happens again with a period of 24 hours then it is flagged or thrown into another table
Extra notes:
Area Country Instrument Local Date &Time Year Month Code Assay ID
Asia Pacific CHINA ISR52344 9/25/14 2:26 PM 2014 September 1401 341

In this data set code 1400 presents itself on 4 occasions over 2 days, I want to create an algorithm that alerts me to that situation
So i will need a set of algorithms that can take the date from the CODE column and identify if that code happened within a time period.
1. Does that code repeat itself during a 24 hour period
2. Does that code repeat itself during three consecutive days
3. Does that code repeat itself during three times in anyone day
4. Does that code repeat itself during more than 5 times in 1 week
Each code is generated from a machine and each machine has serial number. So I am looking to identify if each machine generates the same code for the above situations, if they do then i need it flagged with a YES or NO.
