Description

General information for the business: We are a construction company looking to present profit and loss data from sites we work on
Industry: Environment
Description of excel work: Hi,
We are a construction company based in London. We currently have an excel spreadsheet we have developed for our business to keep track of finances and spend on each job. The issue with the excel spreadsheet with have made with our limited knowledge is it isn't very autonomous.
It may be easy to see once I send it to you what you could do to make it more efficient but the main things that we would like from it is:
- Have a drop down menus for each worker on a particular day that assigns their wage value to that particular job. (it gets comlicated as we are a building firm deal in cash so often part payment is in cash which you will see from spreadsheet)
- At the end of the week the total amounts for wages to each job we then add into the table at the top of each WC tab manually which leaves errors free to happen. Is there a way to make this automatic also.
Any other suggestions you have would be appreciated.
Please contact me and I will forward our report we have made so far.
Thanks,
Paul
